For an additional $70 (before tax), external hard drives can be purchased at your local Shopper's Drug Mart, along with any other computer accessories you might need.

You can save tens of thousands of family photos and up to 30 hours of home videos on your computer. You can watch digital copies of purchased movies from iTunes or downloaded offline videos from Netflix.

If you have grandchildren, for an additional $30 (before tax), if you go to Staples or Best Buy (closest location is Sudbury), you can purchase a Logitech controller, and with the proper software, you can play video games without having to purchase additional game systems.

What is the difference between the Mini PC and an Android Box?

ANSWER: An Android box is primarily used for online media streaming of sites such as Netflix, CraveTV, Amazon Prime and Crackle and offline streaming using external hard drives and USB sticks. Further, they are used to turn any television (especially old tube [CRT] television sets) into smart television sets.

However, most Android boxes are now being used to stream pirated copyrighted material from file storage sites, usually minutes after the show has finished broadcasting. Further, even live television is being streamed without permission or payment. through third-party software and / or add-ons. Most local sellers "preload" these Android Boxes / media streaming devices with software and / or addons in order to stream live television or copyrighted content without payment for service.

Finally, with the exception of a very select few, Android boxes cannot be used primarily as gaming systems, and can only play games purchased and or downloaded through the Google Play store.
